Information you submit

When you use the contact form, the site stores the name, email address, subject and message you provide so the team can review and respond to the enquiry. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Basic technical information

The hosting environment may produce ordinary server logs needed for security, reliability and troubleshooting. The contact form uses a one-way hash derived from the submitting network address for short-term abuse prevention; the form record does not store the original address in that field.

Cookies and local preferences

The application may use essential security or session cookies for protected administrative functions and form protection. The public theme preference is stored locally in the visitor's browser. The current public site does not require an advertising profile to read articles.

How information is used

Submitted information is used to handle enquiries, review correction requests, protect the service and maintain site operations. It is not intended to be sold as a contact list.

External services and links

Articles may link to external sources or embed media provided by third parties. Those services operate under their own privacy practices, which DiplomatsWorld does not control.

Retention and changes

Records should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for editorial, operational, security or legal purposes. This notice may be updated when the site's actual features or data practices change.

Questions

Privacy questions can be submitted through the contact form.
