What happened
Bangladesh and Kosovo held their second Foreign Office Consultations in Prishtina and reviewed progress since establishing diplomatic relations.
The two sides identified trade, investment, education, agriculture, ICT, tourism and labour mobility as areas with untapped potential.
Why it matters
They agreed to explore a government-to-government framework for transparent recruitment of Bangladeshi workers.
Kosovo also expressed support for a durable solution to the Rohingya crisis, while both sides agreed to meet again in Dhaka in 2027.
